This Garden Kit includes the following seed varieties:
CHEROKEE WAX BUSH BEANS
Fast growing dwarf bush bean with an abundance of long yellow pods. Perfect for growing in containers & fun to grow with kids.
Compact bush variety that produces green cucumber fruits up to 20cm in size. Tasty fruit that is perfect for use in salads.
Easy to grow beetroot variety that are red on the outside but have white stipes inside. Commonly referred to as the candy stripe beetroot.
YELLOW TOMMY TOE TOMATOES
A popular climbing cherry tomato variety with a bright yellow colour and exceptional flavour. Fruits grow to approximately 4cm in size and are known for their sweet taste.
DARK OPAL BASIL
Attractive purple dark slightly crinkled leaves. Very aromatic. Good for adding colour to salads and rice dishes.
GOLDEN BANTAM SWEET CORN
Delicious sweet corn variety producing 2 cobs per plant. Plants grow tall and produce pale yellow cobs. Best eaten steamed served with a knob of butter.
Heirloom variety from Japan producing huge white radishes that have a milder flavour than supermarket bought. Ready to eat within 4-6 weeks of sowing they can be pickled or used in salads.
RONDE DE NICE ZUCCHINI
Heirloom variety producing light green speckled round zucchini. Taste is similar to green zucchini but the round shape is excellent for stuffing.
Unusual squash variety that produces oblong fruits which when cooked have a stringy flesh like spaghetti. Suitable as a pasta substitute or delicious when roasted with feta on top.
