Do you provide everything I need in the garden kits?

We provide everything you need to raise healthy seedlings, however you will need a garden bed, grow bag or pots to transfer them into as they grow so they can reach full maturity.
Don't have an existing space to grow in? No problem, our garden kits include some guidance on how to get started.

Do I have to subscribe to your garden kits?

Nope. All our products are available as individual purchases.

What makes My Urban Patch different?

What if I don’t like something that is included in your garden kits? Can I substitute items?

Where do you get your seeds from?

Many of the seeds supplied in our garden kits are saved from our own garden. There are however some varieties that due to size restraints (remember My Urban Patch is based in an inner-city backyard) must be sourced from local trusted suppliers. 
All our seeds are heirloom open pollinated varieties that have not been chemically treated or genetically modified in any way. 

Does this mean your seeds are organic?

All our seeds are saved from plants that were grown using organic methods (ie. no use of chemicals or artificial fertilisers). As a result, you can grow your own organic plants & vegetables using our seeds (provided you also don't use any chemical fertilisers). 

How much is shipping? 

Postage costs are based on your location & are calculated at the checkout. Refer to our full shipping policy here.

What is your refund policy?

We will gladly offer a refund if your garden kit arrives with missing items or damaged contents. Refer to our full refund policy here

Do you guarantee seed germination?

Yes we do. If you follow the instructions as per our garden kit & achieve less than a 60% germination rate from your seed packets please notify us via email so we can organise to test the seeds. If it is confirmed that there is an issue with the batch of the seeds then we will gladly refund your garden kit & issue you replacement seeds. 
Please note that successful seed germination is dependant on many factors, several of which are outside the control of a gardener & it is for this reason that we always include more seeds than coir pellets in the garden kits. Our garden kits include instructions on how many seeds to sow per coir pod to ensure that you achieve the desired outcome. 
 

Do you guarantee a successful harvest?

Unfortunately no as the success of your crop depends on many factors that are outside of our control including adequate sunlight, soil quality, weather events. watering frequency and pests. In saying that, we can guarantee that you will have access to the quality seed, education and support required to raise healthy seedlings. 

Do you sell to Western Australia?

Unfortunately at this point in time we cannot sell our products to Western Australia due to strict quarantine laws. We are currently working through a solution and hope to be able to sell our products in all states & territories shortly.
