This Garden Kit includes the following seed varieties:
BORLOTTI BEAN - RED ROOSTER
Fast growing dwarf bush bean that produces large pods that are green with red speckles. Can be eaten fresh or used as a dried bean with an excellent flavour.
Bushy plant with ovate dark green aromatic leaves. Peppery flavour that can be used fresh or dry.
Easy to grow beetroot variety that are red on the outside but have white stipes inside. Commonly referred to as the candy stripe beetroot.
TOMATO PINK THAI EGG
Small bush variety that produce heavy yields of small pink-red egg shaped fruit. Excellent sweet flavour.
DARK OPAL BASIL
Attractive purple dark slightly crinkled leaves. Very aromatic. Good for adding colour to salads and rice dishes.
Salad green with curled crispy dark green leaves. Similar to lettuce, but more suited to growing in hot summer conditions. Can be eaten raw in salad or cooked in stir-fries.
RADISH EASTER EGG
A colourful mix of small round radishes. Ready to eat within 4-6 weeks of sowing they can be pickled or used in salads.
Plants produce long straight light green zucchinis with dark green stripes. Quick to grow, high yield and excellent flavour.
SWEET BANANA CAPSICUM
Also known as a 'sweet pepper' these compact and productive plants produce banana shaped fruits growing to around 15cm. Fruit starts pale yellow and matures to red.
